A FIRE at a home in Amesbury was caused by tea light candles and incense sticks.
Firefighters from Amesbury and Salisbury attended the incident in Chambers Avenue, which was reported at about 3.40pm on Christmas Eve.
One hose reel jet and a covering jet were used to extinguish the first floor fire.
A spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The fire was caused by tea light candles and incense sticks left too close to the curtains."
No-one was injured in the fire. The occupant had made their way out of the property.
