PLAYERS gathered to celebrate the 59th anniversary of a thriving bridge club in Salisbury.
The 59 Bridge Club mark the milestone at its annual general meeting on Friday, February 9.
The group's previous chairman, Joy Cash, was on hand to cut a special cake.
Since its inception in 1959, the club has met in several venues in the city but currently meets weekly on Fridays and alternate Tuesday at the Royal British Legion in Endless Street, 7pm.
Club chairman Breda Adcock hopes the "thriving" club will get bigger in the future, adding: "It is a very friendly and welcoming club."
It currently has 90 members and new members are welcome to join.
