A DRIVER was attacked by two motorcyclists in Salisbury after they kicked his car.

The driver of a blue Honda Jazz was travelling along Churchill Way West approaching St Paul's roundabout at around 4.20pm on March 6.

His vehicle was then approached by two motorcyclists. One kicked his car, so he got out of his vehicle, and he was then assaulted by both motorcyclists.

The motorist, a man in his 50s, was admitted to Salisbury District Hospital after falling ill due to injuries sustained during the incident. He has now been discharged and is recovering at home.

PC James Barrett, from Wiltshire South Community Policing Team, said: "We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and who may have witnessed the assault.

"We only have a very vague description of the two motorcyclists, but we do know one was riding a maroon and black Suzuki and the other was riding a green Kawasaki."

Anyone with information, including anyone who recorded the incident or the vehicles on their dashcam, is asked to contact PC Barrett on 101.
