THE movements of a former Russian double agent and his daughter before they were found slumped on a bench in Salisbury have been revealed by police.

Here is a timeline of events, according to Metropolitan Police assistant commissioner Neil Basu:

March 3

- Sergei Skripal's daughter Yulia arrives into Heathrow Airport on a flight from Russia at about 2.40pm.

March 4

- At approximately 1.40pm, Mr Skripal and his daughter arrive at the Sainsbury's upper-level car park in the Maltings in Salisbury town centre.

- The pair went to the Bishop's Mill pub before going to Zizzi restaurant at about 2.20pm.

- They stay at the restaurant until 3.35pm.

- Emergency services receive the first report from a member of the public at 4.15pm.

- Police officers find the pair in an "extremely serious condition" on a park bench outside Zizzi restaurant.

Mr Basu said officers were searching for anyone who had seen the Skripals in Sergei's red BMW car with the number plate HD09WAO in Salisbury between 1pm and 1.45pm on Sunday, March 4.

He also revealed that of 38 people treated since the attack, three remained in hospital and one was being monitored as an outpatient. The rest had been discharged.

Mr Basu also warned that the investigation could last several more weeks and more cordons could be set up.
