A MAN who is accused of exposing himself in a Salisbury park has now also been charged with assaulting police at a city cordon.

Police officers on duty in the city to assist with the ongoing investigation were targeted at the cemetery at Salisbury Crematorium yesterday (Thursday).

Daniel Daley, of Bourne Avenue, Salisbury, has been charged with being drunk and disorderly, assaulting a police officer and a racially-aggravated public order.

The 53-year-old is due to appear at Salisbury magistrates’ court on May 4.

The attack comes after Daley is accused of indecent exposure at Victoria Park, in Salisbury, on March 15.

Daley has been bailed to appear at court on April 13 for the earlier incident.
