A 13-YEAR-OLD boy was threatened with a knife in Laverstock on Tuesday.

He was walking along the footpath with his bicycle towards Bishopdown at 3.35pm.

The victim was stopped by four boys aged 11 or 12, and one of them threatened him with a pocket knife.

He escaped unhurt and nothing was stolen.

One of the boys was about 5ft 2in tall with short, dark hair, and wore a red hoody and dark, school-type trousers.

PC James Barrett said: “Our enquiries are ongoing at this stage and we are currently looking for any available CCTV footage from the area.

"The group of youths did not touch the victim but they were threatening and left him feeling nervous.

“Anyone with information should call police on 101 to help with our investigation.”
