The first part of Salisbury Live in the Square kicked off on Friday with music from Skaville, Glasshouse, Odstocks, The Acrustic Badger Band, One Way, Nia Nicholls and Julian McCloud, as well as performances from music students from Wiltshire College.

And Gypsy Jukebox, Pyeshoppe, and The DBs were just some of the acts entertaining audiences on Saturday.

The music continues into Friday (May 18) with Saints of Sin, Solarbird and George Agombar at Salisbury and South Wilts Sports Club from 8pm-11pm.

This will be followed by the Fabulous Family Fun Day on Saturday, which is in memory of Lyn Futcher and raising funds for Salisbury Hospice Charity.

It will be at Salisbury Rugby Club from midday until 11pm. Entry is free.

And in the evening join All Floyd, Lady Winwoods Maggot, Gambling Hearts, Pugwall, Jess Robyn and The Evolution Choir at Salisbury Arts Centre from 5pm-11pm.

Tickets for Saturday’s event are free and are available by emailing ticketsales@wiltshirecreative.co.uk or calling 01722 320 333.

Looking ahead to the bank holiday weekend, Live@ the Farm returns for another year. It takes place on Sunday, May 27, at Riverbourne Community Farm from 3pm-10pm, with Queen tribute act, Queen B headlining the event.

To help cover the rising costs of staging this event, the farm is charging £3 with under 18s going free. Tickets are available at seetickets.com

Bringing Salisbury Live 2018 to a close will be the second part of Salisbury Live in the Square with music from One Step Behind, The Intercepteurs, Break Cover and Common Confusion from 6pm-10.30pm.
