A PEDESTRIAN was taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car in Fordingbridge town centre.
The incident which involved a Mercedes van happened near the Tesco Express store in Salisbury Street on Monday afternoon.
Emergency services were called at about 1.40pm.
Police and the ambulance service were at the scene.
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said that the pedestrian, a 74-year-old woman from Fordingbridge, suffered injuries and was taken to Salisbury District Hospital for treatment.
