ANOTHER arrest has been made in a police probe into a suspected arson attack on a house in Andover.
Emergency services were called to a fire in King George Road at 1.11am on Friday as flames engulfed the home.
The ground and first floor of the house and roof were destroyed, with minor fire spread to a neighbouring property.
On Friday police arrested a 53-year-old woman from Andover on suspicion of arson, who has been released under investigation.
A 40-year-old woman from Andover has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A spokesman for Hampshire police said she has been released on police bail until August 3.
The investigation by the fire service found that the blaze was started in the lounge.
Following the fire on Friday, the police spokesman said: "Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any relevant information to assist the investigation.”
