SALISBURY'S Ambulance Station was cordoned off again by police this evening and two ambulance vehicles have now been taken away.

An ambulance and a response car have been towed away with the help of the military at about 8pm.

Salisbury Journal:

The ambulance station was cordoned off earlier this morning but the cordon was removed by 10am.

A statement from Wiltshire Police earlier today said: "Today, we are transporting vehicles from a police garage/workshop in Swindon and Salisbury Ambulance Station in relation to the on-going incident in Amesbury.

"The public should not be alarmed by this. Those involved in the removal of the vehicle have the necessary training and expertise to carry out a variety of tasks, which includes the safe removal of vehicles.

"The current advice from Public Health England is that the risk to the public remains low."

A dedicated phone line is up and running for anyone who has any concerns or information relating to this incident. The number is Freephone 0800 092 0410 or 0207 158 0124 if you are unable to access Freephone numbers.

More than 400 exhibits, samples and items have been recovered by search teams as part of the ongoing nerve agent investigation after the poisoning of Dawn Sturgess and Charlie Rowley.

Dawn Sturgess and Charlie Rowley became ill on June 30 after coming into contact with the nerve agent, Novichok.

A murder investigation was launched after Dawn died on Sunday, July 8.

And yesterday, Counter Terrorism detectives said scientists had confirmed that a bottle found in Charlie Rowley's home in Amesbury contained Novichok.
