ODIHAM hockey star Alex Danson will once again lead England after being selected aa captain for the Women's World Cup which takes place on home soil in London between 21 July and 5 August.
The England squad has eight athletes from Great Britain team that won 2012 Olympic gold on penalties selected
The home side are in Pool B and begin their campaign against India on Saturday, July 21 (2pm) before facing the USA on Wednesday July 25 and Ireland on Sunday July 29.
On Thursday July 31, there is a possible crossover game with the quarter-final on Thursday August 2.
The semi-finals is on Saturday August 4 (4.30pm) and the final is the following day at 4.30pm.
The other three pools are made up as follows Pool A: the Netherlands, South Korea, China and Italy. Pool C: Germany, South Africa, Argentina and Spain and Pool D: Australia, Japan, New Zealand and Belgium.
