VISITORS will be welcomed to Salisbury City Centre throughout the summer by two coach ambassadors, an initiative funded by Salisbury BID and Salisbury City Council.
Following success from the past two years, the coach ambassadors will be returning to the city to welcome visitors, provide local knowledge and advice, and distribute maps.
Based at Salisbury Information Centre, Michael and Emily will be working between the coach drop off point in St. John Street and Millstream Coach Park every day until September 8, easily spotted in their bright red polo shirts.
It will also be the role of the ambassadors to promote local events and businesses to visitors, with an overall goal of boosting return visits, tourism and reminding the community that Salisbury is a friendly and thriving place to be.
