THREE teenage cyclists were verbally assaulted by the passenger of a passing car, before she pulled one off his bike.

The boys were cycling in Wyndham Road, Salisbury, at about 4pm on Friday, July 13 when a blue car drove up alongside them and a passenger began verbally abusing them.

The female passenger then leant out of the vehicle and pulled one of the boys off his bike by grabbing and pulling his arm.

The 15-year-old was left with injuries on his shoulder, hip, knees, hands and neck.

After this the car immediately left the scene.

PC Sara Murtagh said: “This was an unprovoked attack and the cyclist was left very shaken, with bumps and bruises over his body and damage caused to his clothing as a result of his fall.

"He is understandably upset by what has happened and we are carrying out a thorough investigation to find those responsible.

“We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area of Wyndham Road around 4pm on Friday who may have seen a metallic blue vehicle, or anyone who witnessed the incident.

“We’d also like to speak to any drivers in the area who may have a dash-cam fitted to their vehicle which may have images of the vehicle and the occupants.”
