TOBY Albert scored 101 to help Basingstoke and North Hants seconds to a 103-run victory over visiting Tichborne Park

Albert arrived at the centre with the score at 1-1 and along with Scott Dyer (42) they put a century stand for the second wicket.

Albert was then joined by Matt Deadman (28) and they moved the score to 153.

The century maker whose innings lasted 119 balls and included 11 fours was the fifth man out with the score on 212.

Richard Vinn (29) and Ashley Neal (21) then added more useful runs as the Bountymen finished on 258-8 from their 50 overs.

Returning Graham Porter (4-34) soon had Tichborne in trouble, as he removed their top three who scored only 11 runs between them.

Ryan Brooks (59) and Jacob Bristow (33) looked to have got the visitors back into the game thanks to an 81-run fifth wicket stand.

However, once they were parted by Joe Oates (4-10) from six overs, Tichborne lost their last five wickets for only 23 runs.

The seconds next are at home again, when Rowledge are the visitors.
