FREE range milk will be now available from a second self-serving vending machine installed near Salisbury.

Nunton Farm’s second machine will now sell litres of fresh free-range, local milk at the Bird and Carter Farm Shop just outside Wilton on the A36. Reusable glass bottles will be available from this vending machine too, to encourage customers to do their bit for the environment.

John Martin, of Nunton Farm, said: “The first machine did really well, better than expected, and we received really positive feedback, and this encouraged us to go ahead with another one.”

The milk costs £1.10 a litre, and can only be bought with contactless or card payments.

John added: “If this one is a success too, maybe we will look at a third or fourth machine and start to spread them around Salisbury, and it can be the beginning of a nice little adventure.”
