A new social media craze is hitting the city after the umbrella installation hit the city in July.

The Mary Poppins Challenge was created by Salisbury firm Totem Wolf Digital, and challenges people to take a picture of themselves underneath the umbrellas imitating the Disney character, Mary Poppins.

Totem Wolf Digital are also offering a prize to the best picture - a cuddly toy for a child and a bottle of Tatenger Brut Reserve champagne for the lucky adult - using the #PoppinsChallenge.

The competition closes on Monday, August 27.

Dan Rhind-Tutt, of TWD, "We wanted to create something that added a bit of fun to the installation, and get some really nice imagery of Salisbury on social media, and to get people talking about the city in a more positive way."

Salisbury Business Improvement District (BID) organised and invested in the display which it hopes will prove a talking point and to encourage visitors and locals alike to visit the city centre
