The Celebrate Age gala concert, held annually at the Guildhall is already oversubscribed, and is testament to the popularity of the festival’s community programme.

Artistic director Lynsey Docherty said: “I am incredibly proud to be able to present a full programme for Celebrate Voice for our 5th anniversary. It has been a trying time for arts organisations, as several of our most loyal business supporters could simply not sustain their investment in the arts locally in this difficult year. However, we are delighted that other sponsors of the festival have stepped up their philanthropic giving in response to this. These businesses want to help us continue to put Salisbury in the spotlight when it comes to promoting the city as an epicentre of cultural activity in the South West, and celebrating this wonderfully vibrant place to live and visit.”

Celebrate Voice takes place from October 25 to November 3. Tickets via Wiltshire Creative’s ticket office on 01722 320333.
