JOIN a walk through Wiltshire countryside and go 'Up the Downs' to raise money for charity.
With a choice of either seven, 13 or 19 mile routes through the Longford Estate, this is a fantastic opportunity to experience the wonderful views from the top of the Odstock Downs and walk past the spectacular Longford Castle, all while raising money for Salisbury Hospice Charity.
Starting at 9am on Sunday, September 16 at Salisbury Hospice, it is the perfect walk for any avid rambler who wants to discover some of the hidden gems of Wiltshire’s countryside.
There will also be the chance to have a go at a nature activity sheet and spot all the different types of wildlife and animals that live on the downs, or treat your dog to a new exciting route.
Registration is £10 for adults and £5 for children (16 and under), and includes an exclusive Up the Downs t-shirt.
This year the Hospice are encouraging participants to raise at least £30 in sponsorship to help them carry on the valuable work provided by the charity.
You can register online now at salisburyhospicecharity.org.uk by phone on 01722 416353 or email fundraising@salisburyhospicecharity.org.uk
