SALISBURY City Council is hosting its first Car Fest.
The free event on Sunday, September 9 takes place in Guildhall Square and Market Place from 11am-4pm.
Exhibitors include Marshall Motor Group, SJS Motorcycles, Army Sports Car Racing and XDR Motors. Visitors to the event will also have the chance to win a fantastic Ferrari 458 driving experience voucher courtesy of Thruxton Motorsport Centre.
The deputy leader of the city council, Councillor Jo Broom, said: “This is really exciting for the city, we know how popular other events of this nature have been and we look forward to welcoming visitors to our first ever Car Fest.
“There will be something for all ages to enjoy.”
Phil Randall from XDR Motors who has been part of the organising team said, “This will be a great showcase of rally vehicles, racing cars and lots more for everyone to enjoy. The racing teams and local car businesses are really looking forward to showcasing their vehicles and meeting visitors.”
There will also be live music from local band Break Cover throughout the day and street food for visitors to enjoy.
