TWO people were taken to hospital after a two vehicle crash near Highpost.
Police were called at about 12.30pm to the incident on the A345 near the junction of Down Barn Road and the Winterbournes.
The crash involved a blue Vauxhall Astra and a white Seat Leon.
South Western Ambulance Service sent a rapid response vehicle and two ambulances to the scene.
Two patients were transported to Salisbury District Hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be serious.
Two fire crews from Salisbury also attended and used specialist cutting equipment to cut free a person that was trapped.
