THE Salisbury Food & Drink Festival is returning to the city at the end of September.

The popular Salisbury Food & Drink Festival returns to the Market Place and Guildhall Square on Sunday, September 30 from 10am until 5pm, showcasing a large number of food producers and suppliers from across the UK.

Chef Paul Rankin will be live in the demo marquee situated on the Guildhall Square. Paul is best known for being one of the longest standing and most successful chefs on Ready Steady Cook.

As a successful cookery author, Paul’s books include New Irish Cookery, Dublin Dining, Hot Food, Gourmet Ireland, and Gourmet Ireland Two, as well as contributions to books for BBC programmes Ready Steady Cook, and Saturday Kitchen.

Celebrity chef Levi Roots will also be live in the demo marquee, followed by a talk inside The Guildhall, Salisbury.

Levi is best known for securing a £50,000 investment for his Reggae Reggae Sauce in Dragons’ Den.

BBC Masterchef 2016 winner Jane Devonshire will also be live in the main demo marquee, showing how her culinary skills won her the title.

Jane will also be signing copies of her new book, Hassle Free, Gluten Free which is out on September 20.

In the Guildhall there will be demonstrations from Charter 1227 and Wessex Spirits.

RR Elite Wines will be hosting a wine tasting too.

With a variety of food vendors and stalls, visitors can enjoy Mexican, Thai and Afro Caribbean food as well as treats such as pancakes, fudge, chocolates and much more, as well as a tipple from one of the bars, including Hop On Inn with their double decker bus, or a Prosecco from Prosecco Party’s Tuk Tuk.

There will also be live music and street entertainers throughout the day.
