RAIDERS made off with agricultural machinery worth more than £212,000 after breaking into a compound on Salisbury Plain last week.
The raid occurred overnight last Wednesday, when the secure compound of an agricultural engineering company was entered near Tilshead.
The thieves took two tractors and two telescopic forklift vehicles and made good their escape after loading the machines onto lorries.
Police this week appealed to any witness to the incident to contact them on 0845 408 7000 or on Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
