THE May half term usually provides teachers with a welcome break but staff from The Stonehenge School in Amesbury don't have holidays on their minds.

Seven teachers from the school will be taking part in the three-peaks challenge, which will see the teachers climb Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell Pike all in 24 hours.

They will be raising money for the Joseph Weldmar Hospice Trust, which offers care and support to cancer patients.

For more information in how to sponsor the team contact The Stonehenge School on 01980 623407.

I am impressed again. This school has teachers with the best attitudes, both to teaching, having fun and getting involved with such a task as scaling Ben Nevis, its admirable. I am proud to send my son to this school.
