Salisbury Reds has confirmed that one of its employees was assaulted at its Castle Street depot last month.

Two employees, who had finished their shifts, were in the bus depot at 11.08pm on December 29 when a member of the public entered from the street.

The pair were washing a Mini.

The male employee in his 20s asked the member of the public to leave before being assaulted, according to Salisbury Reds.

He did not require hospital treatment.

This confirmation comes after Wiltshire Police asked witnesses to come forward with information on Sunday, January 8.
