Weapons seized in Bemerton Heath

BOMB disposal experts were called to Bemerton Heath on Tuesday and seized a number of items, including hand grenades and ammunition.
A 50-metre cordon was put in place and residents evacuated as Salisbury Police, Ministry of Defence Police and the Army seized what has been described as a "substantial number of items" from a house.
A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stealing military equipment.
