I have just observed a public notice pinned to the bus stop near my home, informing the public that the No 10 bus service which runs between the town centre and St. Peter's Place will be rerouted from July 30.

It will pass along Wilton Road turning right into Roman Road, and rejoin its present route just after Coronation Road.

I have emailed the bus company informing them that many of their passengers who get on the bus in St. Gregory's Avenue live on Christie Miller Road, and the tops of Canadian Avenue, Australian Avenue and New Zealand Avenue.

Most of these passengers are older people.

The question is, who will use the No 10 between the bottom of Canadian Avenue and Roman Road?

Wilton Road is already used by another five bus routes. Come on Salisbury Reds - THINK.
