A TRAFFIC crash in Amesbury has left a woman with serious leg injuries.
Police were called to an incident on London Road in Amesbury this morning, (Wednesday, October 25) and a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police stated: “We were called to a collision in London Road, Amesbury.
“A woman is believed to have sustained serious leg injuries and is being taken to Salisbury District Hospital.”

A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 07:44hrs on Wednesday, October 25 October to a road traffic incident on London Road, Amesbury.
"We sent a double-crewed land ambulance, an air ambulance and a responding officer and we conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Salisbury District Hospital.”
London Road is closed both ways from Lidle to Porton Road. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
