Three teenagers have been arrested after a vehicle was stolen in an aggravated burglary. 

Officers were called to a property in Fisherton De La Mere at 6.30pm on Wednesday, December 27 following reports that three people had forced their way in and threatened the occupants, demanding them to hand over their car keys and cash.

The occupants complied with the requests and the suspects left in the occupants’ vehicle.

The car was then spotted by police, upon which the driver failed to stop and subsequently crashed.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and possession of cannabis, while a 15-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy were both arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, drug driving and being in possession of a Class B drug.

During further investigation and searches a number of weapons, including an air rifle and pistols, were located and seized.

All three suspects remain in custody.
