Police remain at a bungalow where a man died, as part of an ongoing murder investigation.

A specialist search team and dog unit have been scouring a bungalow in Coombe Bissett for evidence today (January 6) after a murder investigation was launched.

A man in his 50s was found dead, having suffered serious injuries, at the home in Thorne Close on Thursday, January 3.

A woman in her 40s has been arrested on suspicion of murder. She has been taken into custody for questioning. 

A cordon remains at the scene on Friday, January 5, and officers continue to investigate the circumstances.

A police cordon remains in place, with an officer standing guard, while investigations continue.

On Friday, January 5, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: A police spokesperson said: "An investigation has been launched after a man died in Coombe Bissett yesterday. His family have been informed and our thoughts are with them."
