THESE drivers have appeared in Salisbury's court for motoring crimes they committed.

Aston Dobson, 38, of Green Lane in Great Cheverell, was caught breaking the 30-miles-per-hour speed limit in his Audi A5 Sport along the A360 in Tilshead on August 30, 2023.

Dobson pleaded guilty and was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 56 days.

Salisbury Magistrates Court fined him £499 and ordered him to pay a £200 surcharge as well as £90 court costs when he was sentenced on Tuesday, January 30.

Lee David Rose, 49, of Church Hill, Buckhorn Weston, has been banned from driving for 30 days after he was caught speeding along the A303 at Fonthill Bishop on a Honda CRF motorcycle on April 16, 2023.

He was fined £461 and ordered to pay a £184 surcharge alongside £90 costs. His guilty plea was taken into account.

Christopher Trett, 34, of Gainsborough Close, Bemerton Heath, drove a Mazda 5 along Brown Street without any insurance on March 31, 2023.

Trett's driving record was endorsed with six points but avoided a totting disqualification due to his mitigating circumstances.

He told Salisbury Magistrates' Court that losing his licence would result in Trett losing his job and causing exceptional financial hardship for his family.

Trett was fined £438 and ordered to pay a £173 surcharge and £90 costs.

Oliver Love, 38, of Stapleton Close in Martock, was speeding in a Toyota Corolla along the A303 at Woodbine Hill on April 22, 2023.

Love, who pleaded guilty, was fined £499 and had to pay a £200 surcharge and £90 costs. Magistrates endorsed his driving record with six points.

David McHugh, 49, of Pains Way in Amesbury, broke the 50-miles-per-hour limit on the A303 Downhead, Somerset, on October 21, 2021.

He was fined £72 and ordered to pay a £29 surcharge. McHugh's driving record was endorsed with three points.

Titya Suwanta, 56, of George Street South, drove a Mini Cooper along Churchill Way West while she had no driving licence or insurance on May 19, 2023.

Suwanta's record was endorsed with eight penalty points and she was ordered to pay a total of £621.
