A Christmas Market will be returning to Salisbury city centre this year, it has been confirmed.

After years of disappointment, it looks like Christmas will be back in Salisbury as a festive market is planned for four weeks at the end of 2024.

Working with Salisbury City Council, Mynt Image Ltd are currently looking for stallholders to sell their goods inside a modern chalet that will be in Guildhall Square.

The market will run from November 22 until December 19, and it will be free for the public to enter.

Online, Mynt writes: "We are incredibly proud to present the revival of the Salisbury Christmas Market in 2024.

"Mynt Image Ltd and Salisbury City Council have worked together to create a new and exciting concept that has progressed with the times.

"Instead of the outdated rows of wooden chalets we have created one giant ultra-modern chalet.

"We will be bringing together a festive Christmas atmosphere alongside the practicality of shelter from the elements, thus removing the danger of washout days."

They are promising a range of crafts available to buy, as well as food and drink including the classic mulled wine and bratwurst.

Rent prices for a stall start at £500 per week and stallholders are encouraged to apply online.
