THERE was a double dose of Christmas fun in the New Forest last week, as both Fordingbridge and Ringwood hosted their own festive events.
In Fordingbridge on Friday, the town hall was packed full of stalls selling stocking-fillers and games for children, and the High Street came alive with its very own Christmas fun fair.
There was music in the streets, a Santa’s grotto and everything else required to get people in the Christmas spirit.
The same was true in Ringwood on Friday night, as the shops in and around Friday Cross opened their doors until late for their special Christmas shopping evening.
Father Christmas also put in an appearance, and there was an abundance of food, drink and merriment as Christmas shoppers filled their bags for the holiday season.
