A MYSTICAL story of friendship and adventures in the New Forest unfolds as Godshill Players put on their latest performance next month.
Sebastian and the Gypsy, written by 93-year-old Godshill Player Mary Houghton-Brown and her son Jeremy, is a family play centred around Sebastian and his friendship with gypsy girl Meg in the New Forest of 1928.
As the pair go off in search of a crock of gold in the Forest to pay for Sebastian’s ailing sister to go to a sanatorium, they encounter evil spirits, bogs and more.
The performances take place at Godshill village hall from April 16 to 18 at 7pm.
There is also a matinee on April 17 at 2.30pm.
Tickets are available from the Fordingbridge Bookshop from Monday.
