THE future of Old Sarum is the subject of a public meeting being organised by TV archaeologist Julian Richards tomorrow.
He has been asked by English Heritage to come up with a management plan for the monument which puts archaeological conservation at its heart but does its best to accommodate the interests of all its users, including tourists, dog walkers, school groups and nature lovers.
His brief includes looking at how Old Sarum’s significance can be better explained to visitors.
