WITNESSES to a burglary at a property in the High Street in Durrington are being asked to come forward by Wiltshire Police.
Burglars forced entry through a rear door between 7.30pm on June 26 and 11.30am the following day and carried out a search of the property.
A Masonic lodge jewel was stolen in the incident. This is described as a gold bar with three chains dropping down, attached to these was a circular piece of gold with the Masonic insignia on it.
It also has a gold tear drop with an imitation diamond attached to it, with the name Jessie Creehood engraved on the back.
Anyone who has any information on the burglary or the whereabouts of the jewellery is asked to contact PC Darren Willis on 0845 408 7000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information may be left anonymously if necessary.
