PUPILS from schools across Wiltshire are getting the opportunity to learn more about their educational options at two events in Trowbridge.
Aimhigher Wiltshire is hosting the first event today and the second next Monday at the Civic Hall. Both events are for year eight pupils who are set to decide on their options for GCSEs and Diplomas.
The pupils will be shown what opportunities are available to them and will be given advice and guidance to help them achieve their aspirations.
The day will include a performance by the Ruffled Umbrella Theatre Company, talks from successful guest speakers, workshops and a quiz.
Pupils will also get the chance to meet with student ambassadors from UWE, Bath Spa and Bristol Universities.
Schools that will be attending today’s event are Avon Valley College, St Joseph’s, Salisbury High School and Wyvern College. Stonehenge School will be attending next Monday’s event.
Aimhigher Wiltshire work in schools across the region, mentoring pupils and helping schools organise events.
