ANYONE wanting to plant new native woodland in Wiltshire can now turn to national charity the Woodland Trust for help, advice and possibly funding.

Applications have now re-opened for the charity’s MOREwoods programme with a view to planting this winter.

Last winter MOREwoods created 220 hectares of new native woodland across the UK on 160 sites, including 3,500 trees in Wiltshire across three sites. Applications are invited for a minimum of one hectare, although this can be split up into separate pockets of planting or across a whole farm For planting help, call 08452 935 689, visit www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/planting or email woodlandcreation@woodlandtrust.org.uk.
