THE highlight of Tidworth Polo Club’s season will be taking place on Saturday in the grounds of Tedworth House.
The Rundle Cup day includes two polo matches, a parachute jump and music from the Band of HM Royal Marines Lympstone, followed at 1.30pm by a Pony Club exhibition match.
The main event will be the Rundle Cup match at 4.30pm, which is traditionally a hard-fought contest between the Royal Navy and the Army.
The Indian Cavalry Officers Polo Trophy will take place at 2.30pm between the combined services and a visiting national team from South Africa.
There will also be picnics, caterers, a champagne and Pimms bars and a trade stand village.
Prizes for the winning teams will be presented shortly after 5.30pm.
