Fete raises funds for hospital
A CROWD of supporters helped to raise £1,000 at the Friends of Fordingbridge Hospital summer fete.
The event, held at the Drill Hall yesterday, included stalls and music from the Fordingbridge Associate Band of the Salvation Army, conducted by David Sykes.
Pat West from the Friends said the event was enjoyed by all and gave special thanks to the organiser, Christine Bryant, and all those who contributed to its success.
The funds raised will be used to buy multi-positional beds and to contribute to other projects for the benefit of patients being cared for on Ford Ward.
