A TEENAGER is due to appear in court today after an incident that left an 81-year-old Hampshire woman in hospital.
Teenager in court for robbing pensioner The pensioner was walking along a footpath near Green Lane in Fordingbridge on July 14 when two boys attempted to steal her handbag.
She managed to cling on to the bag but was pulled to the ground. She suffered a broken elbow and a suspected broken collarbone and is still in hospital.
A 15-year-old boy from Fordingbridge has been charged with robbery and is due to appear at Southampton Youth Court today.
