THIS year’s Operation Christmas Child appeal has been launched and people can now start getting their shoeboxes of gifts ready to be sent to children in need across the world.
Last year more than 19,000 boxes were provided by individuals and organisations in Wiltshire alone, which were sent on to countries including Belarus, Liberia, Serbia and Ukraine.
The appeal is run by Samaritan’s Purse, which is asking for boxes to be ready by November 18.
