A MEMBER of staff at Kwik Fit in Salisbury was assaulted after attending an alarm call-out on Monday evening.
The 40-year-old man from Devizes was hit over the head with an unknown object as he left the store after the alarm was activated at about 8.30pm.
The offender – a tall black man of a stocky build, wearing a black baseball cap, coat and gloves – then left the scene without taking anything.
