A PROPOSAL to build three terraced houses in place of a former social centre for deaf people in Salisbury has gone back to Wiltshire Council because the planning permission is no longer valid.
The plans to redevelop the site of the former Salisbury Deaf Centre in Love Lane, which has now been demolished, were approved on February 5, 2008.
But one condition of planning permission is that building work must start within three years so the application is now past its deadline.
Stephen Thomas wants to renew permission to build three two-bedroom terraced houses and convert a chapel into a two-bedroom house.
Members of the public have until March 3 to comment on the proposal and a decision is expected by March 21.
