A woman has died following a serious road traffic collision on the A36 in Salisbury.
Wiltshire Police have not released any other details yet but it is believed there was a head-on collision between a car and a lorry at about 11am on Southampton Road this morning.
Emergency services are at the scene and police say the road will be blocked for some time.
Southampton Road is closed between College roundabout and Bourne Way roundabout by Tesco, and Wiltshire Police are advising people to avoid the area.
The dual carriageway is open but drivers are experiencing delays due to a heavy build up of traffic.
Police have set up a diversion on the A338 at Ringwood.
