SALISBURY’S Army Cadets have proved they are true champions after they returned triumphant from their annual camp.
Gallipoli Company, which is made up of cadet detachments from Downton, Old Sarum, Sarum Academy, Larkhill, Bulford and Tidworth, took part in a series of challenging competitions during the ten-day camp at Crowborough in Sussex.
The young people tried paintballing, air rifle shooting, overnight military exercises and obstacle course training.
They won all but one event and came home to proudly show off their medals and silverware.
All detachments are seeking new cadets, who must be in Year 8 and 12 years old to join. They are also looking for new adult volunteers to assist with the running of the cadets.
