THE well-loved pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk will be performed by the Burley Players on Saturday in the village hall at 2pm.
Some 50 neighbours and friends from Burley are putting on the show-stopper, with the scenery and artwork designed by renowned Burley artist Suzan Houching.
The pantomime, which was originally written by Alan Frayn, is directed by Wendy Cronan, who has received a string of awards for her directing talent.
The Burley Players perform several times a year, with proceeds going to the players’ charity of the year, Little Deers Pre-School.
Tickets are available from the village hall at £7 or £7.50 and include refreshments.
