A POTATO themed weekend is set to take place at a Salisbury garden centre next week.
Country Gardens, in Netherhampton Road, is hosting a free Grow Your Own Potatoes Weekend on February 18 and 19.
Horticultural experts will be on hand to give visitors information on selecting, planting, caring for and harvesting potatoes.
Youngsters can take part in a potato modelling competition until midday on Sunday, February 19.
Admission and parking is free and the event will take place during normal garden centre opening hours, from 8am to 6pm on Saturday and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sunday.
