WE have arrived in St Louis and have settled in well to the Residece inn in Downtown St Louis.

We are not the only SDR uk family here, there are around 20-plus families at the same hotel.

We have met a few post-op and they are all so lovely and getting on well.

Today we have met the man himself, Dr TS Park, and he was such a gentlemen.

He was so kind and caring and reviewed Mellissa and gave us a positive outcome that after the SDR procedure which is taking place tomorrow, Missys spasticity will be majorly reduced.

Missy has had a bit of an unsettled day but has worked so well, with lots of tears and tantrums thrown in.

Mind you, after a whole trip consisting of 21 hours from start to finish you can let her off the jet lag part.

Missy is scheduled for her operation tomorrow morning and we will be leaving the hotel at 5.30am (US time).

We will be updated every hour thorugh the operation and get to see her again after five hours once she has recovered.

We are very excited, yet very nervous and can't wait until the operation is over. Just to know we are not alone makes the process a lot easier.
