A FISH and chip shop that was damaged when a huge blaze ripped through Salisbury’s Market Place last year will reopen on Monday.
The fire on March 31 started in the Market Inn and spread to the roof of the neighbouring building which housed restaurant Charter 1227 and Costa Coffee on the ground floor.
Stoby’s fish and chip shop wasn’t badly affected by the fire but it was severely water damaged and after almost a year, it’s now reopened its doors.
And owner and head chef at Charter 1227, Danny Bozic, is looking forward to reopening in the next few weeks after picking up the keys for the refurbished restaurant today.
