Post op day 7

Today was a quiet day consisting of chilling out and playing with toys until Missys physio session at 2pm.

She worked hard with standing and throwing frogs into a basket and even a little trike ride round the therapy area.

Early night and hot chocolate to finish the day.

Post op day 8

Breakfast kick started the day for us, with Missy being cute and full of smiles and with the sun shining we decided to take a wander down to down town St Louis, where there is a 630ft gateway arch.

The sunshine was beautiful today, with not one cloud in the sky but the tail end winds of a storm that hit Missouri a few states across.

We took what I would call a egg (capsule), which could take a maximum of five people with a door height of 4ft up to the top of the Gateway Arch.

Once we reached the top after a four-minute climb we could see for miles across the Mississippi River and across St Louis.

I will admit I was petrified and would defiantly recommend this for the fantastic views but I doubt I will do it again...

Missy was then in for physio at 3pm and unfortunately she was so tired she was unable to work to her full capacity.

We are having a relaxing evening tonight but the winds are very strong and gusting keeping us awake..

Tomorrow the weather is apparently meant to peak at 21c and I packed preparing for snow... hmmmn, uggs and thick shocks are just too warm.
